Italian meat sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano
- olive oil - 2 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- cans tomatoes - 2 lb
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- Accent - 1/2 tsp
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
How to make italian meat sauce:
In large skillet, cook onion in hot oil until almost tender. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered 2 to 2 1/2 hours, until sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf and serve.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Meat, Beef.
