Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • can tomato paste - 1 item
  • Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
  • long spaghetti - 1 lb
  • large onion, minced - 1 item
  • can chopped tomatoes - 1 item
  • bell pepper, minced - 1/2 item
  • grated parmesan cheese optional - 1 item
  • lean ground beef or venison - 1 lb
  • mushrooms, fresh or canned optional - 1 c

How to make italian spaghetti:

Brown meat until lightly browned. Add all other ingredients except spaghetti and simmer at least 30 minutes.

Cook spaghetti in large pot of salted water until desired tenderness then drain. Ladle sauce over spaghetti to serve. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese if you prefer.
