Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • oregano
  • cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
  • cloves garlic - 2 item
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • can mushrooms - 1 oz
  • cans tomatoes - 2 item
  • thyme - 1/4 tsp

How to make italian spaghetti sauce:

In large skillet, cook onion in hot oil. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf and serve over hot spaghetti.
