Italian spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- chopped parsley - 1/4 c
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- cans tomatoes - 2 item
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
How to make italian spaghetti sauce:
In large skillet, cook onion in hot oil. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaf and serve over hot spaghetti.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Sauces, Main dish.
