Hamburger vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 4 tsp
- water - 3 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- diced celery - 1 c
- shredded cabbage - 1 c
- can tomato juice - 1 oz
- cans tomatoes - 2 lb
- rice - 1/4 c
- diced carrots - 1 c
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- diced potatoes - 1 c
How to make hamburger vegetable soup:
Cook beef and onions together until browned; drain excess fat. Add all remaining ingredients and bring mixture to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until vegetables are done.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
