- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- buttermilk - 1 1
- baking soda - 1 tsp
How to make irish soda bread:
Preheat oven to 425°. Brush baking sheet with butter. Combine flour, soda and salt; mix well. Add buttermilk; mix. Turn onto lightly floured board. Pat into circular loaf, 8-inches round x 1 1/2-inches thick. Cut x into top of loaf, 1/2-inch deep. Bake 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Irish.
