  • milk - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • water - 3 c
  • 8 oz - 1 c
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • dried minced onion - 1 tsp
  • instant potato flakes

How to make instant party potatoes:

In a saucepan, bring water, butter and salt to a boil. Add milk, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder and minced onion. Stir in potato flakes. Spoon into a greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350°.
