Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 6 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- minced onion - 3/4 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 6 item
- uncooked egg noodles - 4 c
- Velveeta or American cheese - 4 c
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Cook onions in butter. Add water, bouillon, salt, pepper and garlic powder and bring to a boil. Stir to dissolve bouillon. Gradually add noodles and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in broccoli and cook 4 minutes. Add milk and cheese and continue cooking until cheese is melted and soup is hot.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
