Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- sweet milk
- self-rising cornmeal - 3/4 c
How to make spoon bread:
Bring milk to a boil. Add meal gradually, stirring constantly. Add salt and margarine. Stir until creamy. Cut off heat and add eggs. Pour into a buttered baking dish and bake at 425° for about 25 minutes. Serve while hot.Recipe categories: Breads, < 15 mins, Side dish.
