Hot chicken sandwich
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- onion, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- hard-boiled eggs - 2 item
- chopped chicken - 2 c
- ripe olives, chopped - 1/2 c
- can undiluted cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- can mushroom pieces - 3 oz
- slices firm white bread Pepperidge Farm - 16 item
How to make hot chicken sandwich:
Cut crusts off bread. Butter 8 slices of bread; place on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix chicken, eggs, mushroom pieces, olives, onion and mayonnaise and spread on top. Place last 8 slices on top of chicken mixture. Mix together chicken soup, sour cream and milk. Pour soup mixture over all. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
