Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 12 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda crackers - 1 item
How to make heath bar cookies:
Grease a cookie sheet with margarine and arrange one layer of soda crackers on the sheet. In a saucepan, boil the brown sugar and butter for 3 minutes, stirring, then pour over the crackers. Bake for 5 minutes at 375°. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Spread over top as they melt. Top with chopped nuts, if desired. Let cool and cut into pieces.
