Frozen strawberry dessert
Ingredients/Components
- stick oleo or butter - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- pecans, chopped fine - 1/2 3/4
- flour - 1 c
- egg whites - 2 item
- lemon juice fresh or concentrate - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 1 c
- box frozen strawberries - 1 oz
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
How to make frozen strawberry dessert:
Combine the first 4 ingredients and bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool. Break up into fine crumbles.In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg whites, lemon juice and sugar. Beat at high speed about 8 minutes. Add the strawberries. Beat for at least 15 minutes more. Fold in the Cool Whip. Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan. Place half of the crumble mixture on bottom of pan. Press down firmly. Place strawberry mixture on top. Sprinkle rest of crumble mix on top. Freeze.
