Ingredients/Components
- Keebler Club crackers - 1 item
- Separate them into individual squares, this way the crackers lay better in the pan
- milk - 1/4 c
- white sugar - 2/3 c
- brown sugar, firmly packed - 1/4 c
- crushed graham crackers - 1 c
- Spread over the crackers in the pan
- butterscotch chips these will not melt completely - 1/2 c
- creamy peanut butter - 2/3 c
- chopped nuts if desired - 1/2 c
How to make kit kat bars:
Line a 13 x 9-inch pan with the crackers. (Separate them into individual squares, this way the crackers lay better in the pan.)Filling:1 stick margarine, melted1/4 c. milk2/3 c. white sugar1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed1 c. crushed graham crackers Mix all ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Spread over the crackers in the pan. Immediately put another layer of crackers on top.Topping:1/2 c. chocolate chips1/2 c. butterscotch chips (these will not melt completely)2/3 c. creamy peanut butter1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired) Melt together and pour over crackers.
