Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- sugar - 1 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- grated apples - 2 c
- 8-inch unbaked pie shell
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
How to make apple custard pie:
Beat eggs well. Add 1 cup sugar, lemon juice and vanilla. Add apples, mixing well. Pour into pie shell. Pour melted butter over top. Mix cinnamon and 3 teaspoons sugar together, then sprinkle over top of pie. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until custard sets.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Egg.
