Ingredients/Components

  • crushed graham crackers - 3 c
  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • sticks melted margarine - 2 item
  • First Layer:2 eggs
  • cream cheese
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • plain gelatin - 1 pkg
  • cold water - 1/4 c

How to make pumpkin torte:

Mix all together and pat into a 13 x 9-inch pan.First Layer:2 eggs3/4 c. sugar2 large pkg. cream cheese Mix together and place over crust. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Second Layer:1 large can pumpkin3 egg yolks1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. milk1/2 tsp. salt1 tsp. cinnamon1 pkg. plain gelatin1/4 c. cold water1/4 c. sugar Cook together the first 6 ingredients until thick, slowly. Remove from heat and add the gelatin and water. Add this to pumpkin mixture. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the sugar and fold this mixture into the pumpkin mixture. Pour over the First Layer. Keep refrigerated. Serve with Cool Whip dollops.
