Hearty potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- water - 2 qt
- all-purpose flour - 6 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- carrots, shredded - 2 item
- celery stalks, diced - 6 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and diced - 6 item
- chicken flavored bouillon cubes - 2 item
How to make hearty potato soup:
In a large kettle, cook potatoes, carrots and celery in water with bouillon cubes until tender. Saut?© onions in butter until soft. Stir in flour and salt and pepper, gradually add sour cream, stirring constantly until desired consistency. If too thick, add plain milk.
