Hearty potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
- meal - 2 Tbsp
- about 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- plenty of butter - 1 item
How to make hearty potato soup:
Cook potatoes, celery, onion, salt and pepper, covered with water, until tender. In a bowl, mix meal, flour and sweet milk. Add to potato mixture; stir until slightly thickened. If you wish, you may add 2 boiled eggs (sliced) before serving. Good with corn bread muffins.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Potato, Soups & stews.
