Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • corn flakes - 2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 oz
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • grated cheese - 2 c
  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb

How to make hash brown casserole:

Defrost hash browns. Add 1/2 cup butter, salt and pepper and mix together. Add sour cream, grated cheese, soup and onions; blend. Pour into 3 quart casserole dish.

Mix corn flakes with 1/4 cup butter. Spread on top. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
