Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- crushed corn flakes - 1 c
How to make hash brown casserole:
Partially defrost hash browns. Mix potatoes, 1/2 cup margarine, cheese, onion, sour cream, soup and spices. Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan or dish. Sprinkle corn flakes on top. Pour 1/4 cup margarine over corn flakes and bake, uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Side dish, Casseroles.
