Seven layer salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 2 Tbsp
- green pepper, diced - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 5 item
- head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- imitation bacon bits - 2 Tbsp
- tomatoes, wedged - 2 item
- low-fat yogurt or 1 c - 1 c
How to make seven layer salad:
Put shredded lettuce in a bowl. Layer diced green pepper, chopped celery, chopped onion and peas on top of lettuce. Spread yogurt completely over the top of the salad. Sprinkle with sugar, Parmesan cheese and bacon bits. Garnish with tomato wedges. Cover tightly and chill, preferably overnight. Toss thoroughly before serving. Serves 10.Calories 73; fat 12; carbohydrates 13.
