Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- American cheese - 1/2 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
- flour tortillas - 1 doz
- can chopped green chili peppers - 1 item
How to make green enchiladas:
In skillet, brown beef, onions, salt and pepper. Drain. Add Cheddar cheese and 1/2 of chilies to meat. Set aside. Heat together soup, American cheese, milk and remaining green chilies. Roll meat mixture into tortillas and place in a 2-quart casserole dish. Pour sauce over tortillas and bake at 325° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
