Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- cans beef broth - 3 1/2
- bread cubes - 1 item
- sliced Provolone cheese - 1 item
- 1/2 onions, in rings - 1 item
How to make french onion soup:
Saute onion rings in butter until soft and transparent. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat. In individual soup bowls, add bread cubes and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Pour hot soup on top of cubes and Parmesan cheese.
