French onion beef au jus
Ingredients/Components
- water - 5 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- large onions, sliced - 2 item
- dry onion mix - 1 pkg
- beef roast tip or rolled rump - 4 lb
How to make french onion beef au jus:
Combine in slow cooker and cook 10 hours (or in Dutch oven in 325° oven for 3 hours). Let set for 20 minutes, then thinly slice. Make sandwiches on buttered French or hard rolls. Top with Swiss cheese, if desired. Serve with bowls of broth for dipping.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Roast beef.
