French onion soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 3 c
- oleo - 3 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- grated cheese - 3 c
- large onions - 4 item
How to make french onion soup:
Slice onions thin, then chop. Mix onion, water, salt, sugar, paprika and oleo. Cook until onions are well done. Add milk but do not boil. Heat to near simmering stage. Stir in cheese until cheese melts. Serve warm.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, French.
