Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- cooking oil - 1 c
- pecans
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- flour self-rising - 3 c
- figs, whole or mashed - 1 qt
How to make fig preserves cake:
Sift flour, cornstarch and spices in a large mixing bowl. Pour in buttermilk and beat well. Stir in figs, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in loaf pan or Bundt pan at 325° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
