Fettuccine alfredo
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- whipping cream
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- salted water - 1 item
- medium wide egg noodles - 8 oz
How to make fettuccine alfredo:
Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender. Drain well. While noodles are cooking, melt butter in frying pan over high heat until lightly browned. Add 1/2 cup of the cream and boil until slightly thickened. Reduce heat to medium. Add noodles and gently mix. Then add half the cheese and 1/2 cup remaining cream. Lift and mix pasta. Repeat with remaining cheese and cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, < 15 mins, Condiments, etc..
