  • butter - 6 Tbsp
  • whipping cream
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
  • salted water - 1 item
  • medium wide egg noodles - 8 oz

How to make fettuccine alfredo:

Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender. Drain well. While noodles are cooking, melt butter in frying pan over high heat until lightly browned. Add 1/2 cup of the cream and boil until slightly thickened. Reduce heat to medium. Add noodles and gently mix. Then add half the cheese and 1/2 cup remaining cream. Lift and mix pasta. Repeat with remaining cheese and cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
