Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 1/4 c
  • whipping cream - 1 c
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • Pinch pepper - 1 item
  • Catelli fettucine - 375 g
  • Pinch parsley - 1 item

How to make fettuccine alfredo:

In a saucepan, melt butter with cream; once it its smooth, add parsley and pepper. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a rapid boil. Add salt if desired. Add pasta and stir until water returns to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally,until desired tenderness, about 10 min. Drain fettucine and return to pot. Add Parmesan cheese and toss 1 min. Add butter/cream mixture; continue to toss 1 min. longer or just until thickened. Top with Parmesan cheese and parsley, if desired.

Yields: 4 servings.
