Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • Parmesan cheese - 1 item
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • medium onions - 3 item
  • can tomatoes - 1 item
  • pinch of pepper - 1 item
  • minced garlic cloves - 2 item
  • Mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese - 1/2 lb
  • eggplant, sliced 1-inch thick

How to make eggplant parmesan:

Brush eggplant with oil. Bake in 400° oven for 20 minutes. Saute onions, garlic and ground beef. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, salt and pepper. Layer eggplant and meat in casserole; top with Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese. Bake for 1/2 hour at 350°.
