Eggplant parmesan
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- basil - 1 tsp
- medium onions - 3 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- pinch of pepper - 1 item
- minced garlic cloves - 2 item
- Mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese - 1/2 lb
- eggplant, sliced 1-inch thick
How to make eggplant parmesan:
Brush eggplant with oil. Bake in 400° oven for 20 minutes. Saute onions, garlic and ground beef. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, salt and pepper. Layer eggplant and meat in casserole; top with Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese. Bake for 1/2 hour at 350°.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Main dish, North american.
