Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 1 doz
- milk - 1 c
- stick margarine - 3/4 item
- salt and pepper lightly - 1 item
- ham or sausage - 2 c
- loose hash browns
- diced Cheddar or American cheese - 2 c
How to make egg casserole:
Melt margarine in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Lay hash browns over margarine. Layer meat and cheese over hash browns. I separate bowl beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together, then pour over the casserole. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes covered, then uncovered for 15 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes.This may be made the night before refrigerate, then baked in the morning.
