Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 1 doz
  • milk - 1 c
  • stick margarine - 3/4 item
  • salt and pepper lightly - 1 item
  • ham or sausage - 2 c
  • loose hash browns
  • diced Cheddar or American cheese - 2 c

How to make egg casserole:

Melt margarine in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Lay hash browns over margarine. Layer meat and cheese over hash browns. I separate bowl beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together, then pour over the casserole. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes covered, then uncovered for 15 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes.

This may be made the night before refrigerate, then baked in the morning.
