  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • onion salt - 1/3 tsp
  • hamburger - 2 lb
  • liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
  • mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
  • water optional - 1/2 c
  • Morton Quick salt - 2 Tbsp
  • whole peppercorns optional - 1 Tbsp

How to make salami:

Mix and wrap in Saran Wrap. Refrigerate 24 hours. Remove wrap. Form into 2 rolls, about 2 inches in diameter. Bake on broiler rack at 300° for 1 hour. Freezes well.
