Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
  • dash of red pepper - 1 item
  • grated sharp cheese
  • hot pork sausage - 1 lb
  • slices bread, buttered, cubed and crust trimmed - 5 item

How to make egg and sausage casserole:

Saute sausage; drain well. Mix eggs, milk and seasonings. Layer bread cubes, sausage and cheese in a greased casserole dish. Pour egg mixture over layered mixture. Refrigerate overnight or 2 to 3 hours before baking. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
