Egg and bacon casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- beaten eggs - 8 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- bread crumbs or 6 slices toasted bread - 4 c
How to make egg and bacon casserole:
Place butter in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish. Heat butter until melted. Tilt dish to coat with butter. Pour toast over butter. Sprinkle cheese on toast and set aside.Combine milk and eggs. Pour egg mixture over cheese and sprinkle with bacon. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes, or until set. Let casserole stand for 5 minutes before serving. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
