Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 2 c
- bacon, cooked and crumbled - 1 pkg
- unseasoned croutons or bread crumbs - 4 c
How to make egg and bacon casserole:
Put melted butter in 11 x 17-inch baking dish, making sure to cover the bottom of the pan. Pour croutons over butter; sprinkle cheese over croutons and set aside. Combine milk and eggs; mix well. Pour egg mixture over cheese; sprinkle with bacon. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes, or until set.Recipe categories: Egg, Breakfast, Casseroles.
