  • milk - 2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 2 c
  • bacon, cooked and crumbled - 1 pkg
  • unseasoned croutons or bread crumbs - 4 c

How to make egg and bacon casserole:

Put melted butter in 11 x 17-inch baking dish, making sure to cover the bottom of the pan. Pour croutons over butter; sprinkle cheese over croutons and set aside. Combine milk and eggs; mix well. Pour egg mixture over cheese; sprinkle with bacon. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes, or until set.
