Egg and bacon casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 8 item
- 8 oz - 2 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- unseasoned croutons - 4 c
How to make egg and bacon casserole:
Place butter in an 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Heat butter in a 325° oven for 5 minutes or until melted, tilting to coat dish; remove from oven. Pour croutons over butter; sprinkle cheese over croutons and set aside. Combine milk, eggs and mustard; mix well. Pour egg mixture over cheese and sprinkle with bacon. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes or until set. Let stand at room temperature 5 to 10 minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Egg, Breakfast, Casseroles.
