Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 6 Tbsp
  • water - 2 c
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • parsley - 1/4 c
  • chopped green onion - 1/2 c
  • stalks celery, chopped - 3 item
  • chopped bell pepper - 1 item
  • raw shrimp - 3 lb

How to make easy shrimp etouffee:

Melt butter and add flour. Stir until the roux is medium brown. Add vegetables and cook until they are tender. Add water, shrimp and seasonings. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
