Easy shrimp etouffee
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- chopped onion - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- parsley - 1/4 c
- chopped green onion - 1/2 c
- stalks celery, chopped - 3 item
- chopped bell pepper - 1 item
- raw shrimp - 3 lb
How to make easy shrimp etouffee:
Melt butter and add flour. Stir until the roux is medium brown. Add vegetables and cook until they are tender. Add water, shrimp and seasonings. Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Shrimp.
