Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- slices bread, cubed - 3 item
- lukewarm water - 3/4 c
How to make dumplings:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add beaten egg. Add lukewarm water and mix well with wooden spoon. Add bread. Mix well and roll into oblong dumplings or in 2 pieces if desired. Place in boiling water. Cover and cook about 10 minutes on one side. Turn over and cook on the other side. Cut with string.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta, rice and grains.
