Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 c
- water - 3 qt
- vinegar - 1 qt
- clove garlic - 1 item
- alum - 1/2 tsp
- dill seed - 1 item
How to make dill pickles:
Heat the first 4 ingredients to boiling. In the bottom of each jar, put 1 clove of garlic and 1 teaspoon of dill seed. Pour water and vinegar mixture over pickles and seal.
