Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 c
- water - 8 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- dill seed - 1 tsp
- pod hot pepper - 1/2 item
How to make kosher dill pickles:
Mix water, vinegar and salt. Heat until very hot. Place cucumbers in jars along with dill seed, peppers and garlic. Pour hot mixture over cucumbers and seal using hot flats.Recipe categories: Low protein, Side dish, Vegetables.
