Ingredients/Components

  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 1/4 c
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • onion powder - 1/4 tsp
  • liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
  • hickory salt - 1/4 tsp
  • deer meat, cut in thin strips - 2 lb

How to make deer jerky:

Mix together all ingredients except for meat. Combine mixture and meat in a bowl. Cover and soak overnight. Run toothpicks through meat and hang on rack in oven. Bake at 150° for about 8 hours.
