Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 3/4 c
- soy sauce - 3/4 c
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- onion powder - 3 tsp
- liquid smoke - 1 tsp
- barbecue salt - 1 tsp
- flank steak or deer meet
How to make beef jerky:
Semi-freeze steak and slice with the grain into strips 1/8-inch thick. Combine all ingredients into large bowl. Dip meat into mixture and place in shallow glass dish. Marinate overnight. Lay strips of marinated meat in single layer on oven rack. Strips may touch, but not overlap. Set oven on lowest temperature. Leave oven door open a crack.
