Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • olive oil - 1/2 c
  • dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
  • thyme leaves optional - 1 tsp
  • marjoram leaves optional - 1 tsp
  • all purpose potatoes, quartered - 2 lb

How to make crisp onion-roasted potatoes:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In shallow baking or roasting pan, thoroughly blend all ingredients except potatoes. Add potatoes and turn to coat thoroughly. Bake, stirring occasionally, for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Garnish, if desired, with fresh parsley.
