Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • finely chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • finely chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
  • can sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
  • clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • can tomato puree - 1 oz

How to make creole sauce:

Melt butter in medium saucepan. Cook green pepper, onion and garlic until limp. Stir in tomato puree and mushrooms; simmer 25 to 30 minutes. May be served on meat balls or with cooked rice.
