Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- finely chopped onion - 1/3 c
- finely chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- can tomato puree - 1 oz
How to make creole sauce:
Melt butter in medium saucepan. Cook green pepper, onion and garlic until limp. Stir in tomato puree and mushrooms; simmer 25 to 30 minutes. May be served on meat balls or with cooked rice.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
