Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- minced onion
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- cloves minced garlic - 2 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- finely chopped celery - 1/2 c
- fat-free margarine - 1 Tbsp
- to 3 dashes Tabasco sauce - 2 item
- fresh finely chopped mushrooms - 1 c
- large peeled chopped tomatoes - 5 item
How to make creole sauce:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes. This sauce is excellent on baked fish, veal or chicken. One half gram of fat per serving and 28 calories. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
