Creamed chipped beef
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- milk, divided
- butter or margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- jar dried beef, chopped - 1 oz
- beef flavored bouillon granules - 1 tsp
- frozen puff pastry shells, baked - 8 item
How to make creamed chipped beef:
Saute beef in butter in a large skillet 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in 3 1/2 cups milk; simmer 2 minutes, stirring often. Combine flour and bouillon granules in a small bowl. Gradually stir in remaining 1 cup milk. Gradually stir flour mixture into beef mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt and white pepper.
