Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- milk, divided
- plain flour - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- jar dried beef, chopped - 1 oz
- beef-flavored bouillon granules - 1 tsp
How to make creamed chipped beef:
Saute beef in butter in a large skillet 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in 3 1/2 cups milk, simmering 2 minutes and stirring often. Combine flour and bouillon granules in a small bowl. Gradually stir in remaining milk. Gradually stir flour mixture into beef mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt and pepper.
