Cream of corn soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- hot water - 1 c
- onion - 1/2 Tbsp
- celery salt - 1 item
- cut corn - 1 c
How to make cream of corn soup:
Brown onion in butter; add flour and mix. Add water and corn and cook until it thickens. Add milk, salt, butter and dash of pepper. Heat to boiling point. Serve hot. Can be served with bacon bits sprinkled on top.Recipe categories: Corn, Soups & stews, Bisques/cream soups.
