Cream of broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chicken broth - 3 c
- cube margarine - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- white pepper - 1/2 tsp
- granulated garlic - 1 tsp
- broccoli, cut up - 3/4 lb
How to make cream of broccoli soup:
Melt the cube of margarine in heavy saucepan. Stir in flour; cook a few minutes while stirring. Slowly add milk and broth, stirring constantly. Let soup come slowly to a low boil. Saute broccoli pieces and chopped onion in 1 tablespoon margarine; add vegetables to the soup. Add garlic and white pepper. Cook slowly for 15 minutes.
