Crawfish pie
Ingredients/Components
- unbaked pie shells you will need one for the shell and one for the top crust - 2 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- green bell pepper, finely chopped - 1/2 item
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- peeled crawfish tails - 1 item
- onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- garlic powder to taste - 1 item
How to make crawfish pie:
Saute crawfish tails in margarine for about 5 minutes. Remove tails and add onion, garlic and bell pepper. Saute for about 10 minutes. Season crawfish and add to mixture along with the soup. Cook at least 20 minutes. If too thick, add a little water. Place mixture in pie shell and cover with top. Bake at 300° until brown. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Crawfish.
