Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 lb
- water - 2 c
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- small bay leaf - 1 item
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
- crab meat - 3 c
- salt and red pepper to taste - 1 item
- heaping finely chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
How to make crab meat casserole:
Melt butter over low heat; blend in flour. Add onions; cook until tender. Add water, bay leaf, salt, red pepper and parsley. Boil until mixture is consistency of thick soup. Fold in crab meat; put in greased casserole. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° to 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
