Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- Wesson oil - 2 Tbsp
- raw rice, washed - 1/2 c
How to make rice and beef porcupines:
Mix rice, beef, onion and seasoning; form into small balls. Fry in hot oil, turning frequently, until light brown on all sides. Add tomato sauce and water; mix well. Cover; simmer for about 45 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Meatballs.
