Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3/4 c
- flour
- butter - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- mustard - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
- onion, chopped fine - 2 tsp
- crab meat - 1 lb
- Old Bay seasoning - 1 tsp
How to make crab imperial:
Melt butter in skillet. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, Old Bay, salt and pepper to taste. Fold in crab meat. Put in greased baking dish. Top with buttered bread cubes and bake until golden brown at 350°.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Casseroles.
